Ministere Vrai Refuge d'Haiti
Serve everyone, the weak first!
Love, Hope, Dignity

About Us
Our Story
Ministère Vrai Refuge d’Haïti (MVRH) was born from years of compassion, faith, and service.
For over 14 years, Salomon and Marjorie have quietly carried out acts of support and ministry, helping individuals and families in need through their own contributions and the generosity of close friends.
What began as private acts of kindness has grown into a greater vision.
Today, with hope and determination, they are developing Ministère Vrai Refuge d’Haïti (MVRH) to expand this mission and reach many more people in need. They believe that while one or two people can make a difference, a united community can make a bigger difference and transform more lives.
Our Mission
Provide a safe, compassionate, and nurturing environment where elderly adults, individuals living with disabilities, and those facing emotional and mental challenges can experience hope, healing, encouragement, and spiritual growth through the transforming power of God's Word and the love of His people.
Our Vision
To build stronger communities where elderly adults, people with disabilities, individuals with mental health challenges, youth, and families can experience support, belonging, and renewed hope..
Our National Leadership
Ministère Vrai Refuge d’Haïti is proudly operated and led by dedicated national leaders who understand the needs, challenges, culture, and realities of the communities we serve. Our leadership team is committed to developing sustainable, community-centered solutions that create lasting impact while sharing the hope found in Jesus Christ. Our local leadership ensures that our programs remain effective, accountable, and closely connected to the people they are designed to serve.
As you explore our ministry, we invite you to learn more about our programs, our mission, and the people we serve. Whether you are a community member, volunteer, church partner, or donor, we thank you for joining us in this important work.
Together, we can bring hope where there is despair, strength where there is weakness, and refuge where there is need.
Our Motto : "Serve all, the weak first!"
We serve without discrimination or exclusion. However, the ministry seeks to offer support, compassion, and hope to the weakest first :
-
Elderly adults
-
Individuals living with disabilities
-
People facing mental health challenges
-
Vulnerable families
Through faith, service, and solidarity, MVRH desires to become a true refuge where people can find dignity, hope, and practical support.
Our Core Values
1. Christ-Centered Ministry
Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything we do. We seek to glorify God by serving others according to the teachings and example of Christ.
"Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." — 1 Corinthians 10:31
2. Compassion
We serve every person with genuine love, mercy, kindness, and respect, recognizing the dignity and worth of every individual created in God's image.
"Be compassionate and kind to one another."
3. Service
We believe leadership begins with serving. We willingly place the needs of others before our own, especially those who are most vulnerable.
4. Human Dignity
Every person deserves to be treated with honor, regardless of age, disability, health condition, social status, or background. We believe every life has value because every person bears the image of God.
5. Integrity
We commit ourselves to honesty, transparency, accountability, and faithful stewardship of every donation, resource, and responsibility entrusted to us.
6. Excellence
We strive to serve with professionalism, competence, and excellence because our ministry represents Christ. We believe that every act of service should reflect our very best.
7. Faith
We depend entirely on God for wisdom, provision, strength, and direction.
Prayer is not simply one of our activities—it is the foundation of our ministry.
8. Respect
We honor every person regardless of race, nationality, culture, education, religion, or economic status.
Everyone deserves to be heard, valued, and treated with kindness.
9. Hope
We believe that no life is beyond God's ability to restore.
Through practical support and the Gospel, we seek to bring hope where there is despair and healing where there is brokenness.
10. Empowerment
Rather than creating dependency, we seek to equip individuals, families, and communities to become healthier, stronger, and more self-sufficient.
11. Unity
We value teamwork, collaboration, and partnership with churches, communities, organizations, volunteers, and supporters who share our commitment to serving those in need.
12. Stewardship
Everything we possess belongs to God. We are committed to using every gift, donation, and opportunity wisely, responsibly, and for God's glory.
Our Commitment
At Ministère Vrai Refuge d'Haïti, we are committed to serving with Christ-like compassion, protecting the dignity of every person, walking in integrity, and bringing hope to the elderly, persons with disabilities, individuals living with mental health challenges, and vulnerable families. We strive to reflect the love of Jesus Christ through practical service, faithful stewardship, and unwavering commitment to those God has called us to serve.
